From history to current day so many women inspire me!!! Because women are AWESOME, kind, strong, smart, clever and all things wonderful! Don’t you agree?!

To name a few though...

I have to start with my mom. My mom, AKA Karla Dornacher, has been an incredible example of someone who hasn’t let her past define her. She’s pursued her dreams and passions with discipline and drive. She’s always learning something new and isn’t afraid to put in the hard work. She really did a good job of showing me that anything is possible! I feel extremely blessed that I have a mom who has always made time for me, loves me unconditionally, supports me and who also isn’t afraid to call me out on my crap. She’s been a wonderful example of who I want to be as a mom to my kids.

Georgia O'Keeffe Book

Ever since reading “Portrait of an Artist: A biography of Georgia O’Keeffe” by Laurie Lisle many moons ago I have reflected back to her life and how she pushed through diversity and pursued her art with crazy passion and extreme persistence. “I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life – and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.”– Georgia O’Keeffe

Lillian Vernon Book

Another incredible woman that has been a huge inspiration to me on my entrepreneurial journey has been Lillian Vernon. She was from an immigrant family and built a multi-million dollar mail order company from nothing. She was beyond clever and resourceful. I’d highly recommend her book “An Eye for Winners”, it's so good!
