From Sketchbook to Snuggles: The Story of Roamies

Creating this line of plush has truly been a dream come true. I’ve always loved little stuffies, and now- watching my five grandchildren adore them too- it felt especially meaningful to bring this idea to life.

I started by imagining a group of characters that felt adventurous and cuddly, a little strong, a little scrappy, and full of heart- the kind of underdogs you instantly root for. From there, we took my sketches and paintings and worked carefully to translate them into plush form, staying true to their spirit while making them soft, lovable, and huggable.

Finding the right name was the final piece. We wanted something that captured curiosity, warmth, and a sense of wonder, and that’s how Roamies was born. My hope is that these little companions bring comfort, imagination, and joy- just as they already have for my grands and for me.
